Amr Chalabi completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from UMass Lowell in 2019 and continued his academic journey at Boston University, Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine, Graduate Medical Sciences, where he obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Oral Health Sciences (OHS). His master’s thesis, which focuses on the future of 3D/4D Bioprinting, showcased his dedication and commitment to advancing dental technology.

Amr’s interest in dentistry developed during his high school years when he realized he wanted to help others and make a positive impact on their lives. Exploring different medical fields through volunteering, Amr had the opportunity to shadow a dentist, which sparked his fascination with dentistry. He was captivated by how dentistry seamlessly combined medicine, engineering, and art, allowing him to improve patients’ quality of life while exercising his artistic skills. This experience solidified his decision to pursue a career in dentistry.

Outside of his professional life, Amr cherishes spending quality time with his family. He particularly enjoys taking long walks with his wife, Israh, away from the distractions of technology and city life. Amr is fluent in Arabic, and in his spare time, he practices Arabic calligraphy, showcasing his artistic talent and embracing his cultural heritage.
